dam.. i want to ... dam.. i want to move? to calgary. all the fishin i do in the winter here in idaho is lake ice fish for mackinaw. its fun but i would rather be fly fishing haha.

Here in Calgary we ... Here in Calgary we are blessed with a river like the Bow that is open all year round. Fish can be found in "wintering holes" which are typically slow and deep. Fighting the iced? up line guides are a pain, and the ice ledges are dangerous, but the fishing can be fantasic on +0 day

they are not ... they are not hybrids but they also arent true trout. they are a member of the char family, along with lake trout, brook trout, dolly varden and arctic? char.etc. etc.
Love the scenery? ... Love the scenery? and the fish. I've only fished one river with them in Montana and it looked similar to that one. Problem is they're protected so I have to live vicariously through you up in BC where you can fish for them. Great video.

Totally, I think ... Totally, I think they did a? great job of getting the shot and releasing the fish with as little stress as possible. If they would have just tossed it right back it would have got pummeled on the rocks. They did the right thing by taking their time reviving the fish. I personally had to revive a 20" cutthroat for nearly 4 minutes before it had the energy to swim away on it's own. And it wasn't nearly the fight that bull trout put on.
